What is the number of people a bounce house can support?
This is largely depends on the size of a bounce house, water slides or whatever inflatable
party rental
you use. The bigger the bounce house the more people can use it at a time. Standard 13x13 commercial bounce house can support from 4-8 participants depending on age and weight. Max allowed weight is 800 Lb. Bigger bounce houses such as 15x15 can support from 6-10 people with 1000 Lb. max weight capacity. 18 Ft single lane commercial inflatable slide can be used by 3 participants (2 climbing up 1 sliding down) while double lane can be used by up to 6 people (4 climbing up and 2 sliding down).
Is there a need to supervise children using bounce houses?
Yes, adult supervision is required all the time to ensure the safe use of the bounce houses and all of our
party rentals. Bigger inflatables such as obstacle courses may require more than one adult supervision.
When do you set up the inflatable
party rentals/concessions?
That depends on how many inflatable bounce houses and/or water slides we have rented out that day. We start delivering at 7:00 am. We deliver up to a half hour before your party time. Sometimes up to 8 hours before. We pick up after your party end time and up until 11pm.
We've rented some really dirty jumps from other inflatable
party rental
companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
No. The jump should be cleaned when you get it. About to Bounce cleans and disinfects after or before every rental.
Are we responsible for the inflatable
party rental
if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules
What do we do if it rains while the inflatable party rental is up?
If it rains and winds are less than 15mph, leave the jump up. Once the rain slows down or stops, wipe down the inside of the Moon Bounce and let the kids back in. The kids do not care if it has rained – they just want to jump. Note: The vinyl gets very slippery when wet, so make sure it is dry. If winds are more than 15mph the jump must be deflated and covered with the tarp behind the jump.
What surfaces do you set up the inflatable party rental on?
We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can´t set up any inflatable unit on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
Park party rentals are unique. You will need to check with the park you would like your event at to see if there is electricity. If not, we can arrange to supply a generator for an additional charge. We also charge $50 extra to be in a park for insurance purposes.
What if we need to cancel?
If you need to cancel due to weather or any other circumstance we would like to know the day before the event when possible. We require a 25% deposit for any rental that is non refundable and we have a very good rain check policy that allows you to use a rain check for up to 1 year.
Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
Yes! We are happy to send you our contract and safety rules and highly suggest you read and abide by them.
Do we have to be present when you deliver our party rental?
Yes you do need to be present. Our driver will have you sign off on an inspection report and a copy of our rental agreement. You will also need to show us where you would like the inflatable setup. (backyard, front yard, facing the deck, facing out towards the woods etc...)
What if my event is indoors and we can’t drain the dunk tank afterwards?
We are able to rent you a submersible water pump (you will need to provide your own garden hose) so you will be able to direct the water wherever you need it drained in the event you can’t drain the dunk tank in the same location it is being used.
Can I throw the ball at the target when the dunk tank has not been filled with water?
No. We encourage customers to not throw the softballs at the target when the dunk tank is not filled with water. When the dunk tank is full of water, it will help to soften the blow of the seat against the vinyl liner. Throwing the balls at the target while the vinyl liner is empty increases the chance of ripping the blue vinyl liner and allowing water to leak out of the liner.
